To Reimport Updated Sources

To reimport updated sources of an already existing import manually, you replace the outdated source with a newer version and start the import again. You may only restart imports with the status Succeeded or Failed.

Alternatively, you can schedule an import to import sources automatically again. See Scheduling Imports.

Open Data Acquisition.
Open an import with the status Succeeded or Failed. The details of the import appear.
In the details, select the source you want to re-import.
Select its Context menu ( ), and then select Start Import.
Tip: Objects missing in a reimported Excel (Single Class), Proteus or AutoCAD file are deleted from the previously imported data set. They do not appear in Data Aggregation. Objects are not deleted from the project data.

Note: If an import job fails due to infrastructure issues (not because of an error with the import file itself), an error message appears that includes a unique Activity ID. For assistance with the Activity ID, contact Bentley Support.

New objects and changed attribute values are imported and the updated data are identified.
